- Employers of any size may offer an ICHRA to full-time and part-time employees, as well as independent contractors.
- Employers do not select the insurance company or plan. They set a defined contribution amount, and employees choose their own plan and carrier. Rates are community rated and not subject to underwriting, claims experience, or health conditions. Carriers must sell plans at published rates.

- No. zizzl health does not prohibit brokers from offering other ICHRA solutions.
- Yes. zizzl health works with brokers to evaluate contribution strategies for ACA affordability. All plans available meet minimum essential coverage requirements.
- Qualified plans meet ACA minimum essential coverage standards. COBRA applies for employers subject to ERISA. State continuation does not apply.
- Yes. ICHRAs are compatible with both FSAs and HSAs. Employers may offer one or both alongside an ICHRA.
- Employers may pay carriers directly and payroll deduct employee contributions, creating a familiar group-plan feel. Alternatively, employees may pay premiums and submit reimbursement requests.
- Individual rates are at parity or lower than small group rates in 19+ states, and that trend continues to grow.
